Recruiter

Valle Vista Health System  is a 132-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in the beautiful community of Greenwood, IN.  Valle Vista Health System features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.  On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Valle Vista Health System.  Valle Vista Health System is proud to be a teaching facility that supports local nursing students through our dedicated and tenured nursing team.

Position Summary:

P rovide recruitment and onboarding services for all assigned positions for facility . Will create and manage open positions in ATS real-time and subsequent internal and external job postings across all career sites and necessary job boards.  Will s ource, pre-screen, and schedule interviews for qualified candidates and applicants with hiring manager(s).  Manages the full life cycle of recruitment in timely fashion adhering to key recruitment benchmarks.  Will develop recruitment techniques, strategies, and action plans to efficiently support recruitment workload across entry level, supervisor, and director level roles.  Collaborate with senior leadership, hiring managers and HR Director on pertinent recruitment initiatives, including position control management, maintaining relevant compensation grids and market analysis, managing recruitment budget and related department goals.

Qualifications:

Education : Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field of study.

Experience : Minimum of 3-years working as a Recruiter or related Human Resources role with a heavy emphasis on high-volume, full cycle recruitment; preferably within a healthcare setting/industry.

Required Knowledge and Skills :

• Demonstrate experince with modern ATS and CRM systems.
• Success through hands-on utilization of Indeed, LinkedIn, specialty career sites and social media.
• Versed in Microsoft Office suite and Zoom/Teams navigation.
• Comfortable with both high volume candidate management and more focused approaches to source for niche roles.
• Ability to meet hiring goals and recruitment benchmarks, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Professional presentation through positive engagement and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience initiating and managing bulk candidate campaigns is strongly preferred.

Essential Job Duties:

• Provide high-quality and efficient full cycle recruitment and onboarding tasks for assigned positions
• Develop recruitment strategies and action plans to efficiently fill vacant positions. Proactively source candidates via internet job boards, resume databases, licensure lists, career events, rehires & previous applicants, referrals, student affiliations and 3rd party vendors as necessary
• Facilitate and conduct phone, online and in-person screens and interviews. Direct schedule interview(s) with hiring manager(s), initiates professional references checks, and will prepare and extend employment offers for assigned positions.
• Will initiate and monitor pre-employment onboarding and background checks
• Represent facility at onsite, local and regional career events and conferences
• Keep current with recruiting trends, tools and best practices meet hiring goals.
• Serves as liaison with all 3rd party staffing agencies and internal recruitment resources
• Assists with assigned recruitment projects, including related data collection and reporting
• May be cross trained to cover for HR Generalist and/or HR Director as needed
