Duties include preparing syllabi and modules in the Canvas online course management system, preparing course materials; presenting virtual lectures as appropriate, and facilitating online discussions and other interactive learning activities. Duties also include preparing and administering assignments, grading student work, and holding virtual office hours.

Master's Degree
The applicant should demonstrate familiarity with the interdisciplinary field of Latina/o/x Studies.
Demonstrated ability to teach courses in Chicana/o/x/e and Latina/o/x/e studies and work effectively with students of varied backgrounds.
Part Time: 90%
It is anticipated this position will be remote and requires work be performed at an offsite, non-campus work location. Terminal, 1 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding
