Location: We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Gurgaon. We welcome you to work in any of our offices, but you also have the opportunity to work from home.
About the role: Are you passionate about pets? We are looking for a social video producer with strong storytelling skills to join our team. This is a temporary position for 5 months. This role will be responsible for creating engaging, short-form digital videos that highlight the stories of pets, rescue organizations, and animal shelters.
About You: You are someone who knows how to capture heartwarming moments and transform them into impactful stories. If you're a true storyteller with a love for pets and a talent for creating emotional and meaningful content, we’d love to hear from you!
Your day to day: - Network with animal shelters, organizations, and pet-related communities to gather content and collaborate on campaigns
- Work with a team of editors to produce short digital videos that are compelling and emotional
- Manage the brand’s editorial calendar, ensuring timely production and alignment with overall content strategy
- Work with the Publishing Coordinator to ensure content is optimized for various platforms
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and the Marketing team to amplify your videos
You have: - Proven experience in short-form video production, with a portfolio showcasing your work
- Experience with various social content management systems, such as YouTube Studio
- Excellent writing and communication skills with a talent for creating emotionally resonant stories
- Strong networking skills and ability to build relationships with animal organizations and other stakeholders
- Proficiency with video production tools and software; editing skills are a plus
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
