Job Description
We're seeking a mid-level UX/UI Designer with a strong focus on dashboard design and data visualization. This role will support the development of elegant, intuitive, and technically feasible dashboards that help users interact with complex datasets. You'll collaborate closely with data engineers and product stakeholders to iteratively refine UI components and ensure visualizations are both impactful and user-friendly.
You'll be working on platforms like Power BI and ThoughtSpot, helping shape how data is presented-whether through Harvey Balls, gauges, bar charts, or other visual metaphors. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of design sensibility, technical comfort with data, and a collaborative mindset.

Skills and Requirements
5-7 years of UX/UI design experience, with a focus on dashboard and data visualizationStrong familiarity with Power BI (ideally having designed dashboards for several years)
Comfort working with data and understanding its structure and limitations
Ability to iterate UI designs based on technical feasibility and stakeholder feedback
Solid foundation in computer science or mathematics (not necessarily a mathematician, but data-savvy)
Professional presence and business acumen; able to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
Experience with Figma, Miro, and Adobe Creative Suite
Local to St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL Experience with ThoughtSpot or similar BI tools
Familiarity with different data visualization formats (e.g., Harvey Balls, gauges, bar charts)
