Our growing family owned and operated Used Auto Parts Yard is looking for a dedicated, passionate Inventory Specialist to join our tight knit team of used parts processionals.
Receive, tag, and catalog incoming vehicles into the inventory system.
Identify, label, and record usable parts for resale.
Photograph and upload vehicle and parts images to the inventory database.
Maintain accuracy of yard layout by placing vehicles in assigned sections.
Perform regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and update records as needed.
Assist in dismantling prep by noting condition and high-demand parts.
Operate yard equipment such as forklifts and loaders safely.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Support sales staff by locating and pulling requested parts.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Yard Manager or Director of Operations.
Previous salvage yard, auto parts, or warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge of automotive parts and systems is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor daily.
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
Basic computer skills for inventory entry and updates.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
