Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)

Kaiser Permanente – Riverside and Murrieta Medical Offices

Pay Rate: All inclusive $140–$145/hr. | Overtime: $210–$217.50/hr. after 40 hrs./week
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM | Set schedule made in advance | Every other weekend + weekday shifts
Assignment: ASAP – up to 1 year (high possibility of extension)

Role Highlights:

• Specialty: Urgent Care (Outpatient Clinic)
• Patient Volume:
• Riverside: ~375 patients/day (higher acuity mix)
• Murrieta: ~275 patients/day
• Avg. 3–4 patients per hour | 20-min Urgent Care appointments | 10-min Fast Track visits
• Responsibilities:
• Provide urgent care services to diverse patient populations
• Triage higher-acuity patients when needed
• Work seamlessly with full support staff in a collaborative environment
• EMR: EPIC (Health Connect – Kaiser’s system)

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of ER experience within the last 3 years (required)
• Certification: Board Certified NP or PA, BLS from the American Heart Association
• Licensure: Active CA NP or PA license (no licensing candidates accepted)
• Vaccination: COVID-19 preferred (waivers considered)

Credentialing & Onboarding:

• Estimated Timeframe: ~90 days from application submission
