**Job Summary and Responsibilities** Responsible for scheduling both surgical procedures and Anesthesia provider coverage for Mercy Hospital. This includes interaction with surgeons and their office staff and anesthesiologists, entry of the data into the computer system, production and distribution of surgery schedule, block scheduling maintenance, and surgical scheduling system maintenance. **Job Requirements** Minimum + High school graduate or GED + Experience in scheduling anesthesiology providers + 3-5 years of recent OR scheduling in acute hospital setting + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, ORM Meditech or similar OR scheduling System, and MSM + Knowledge of Medical Terminology and surgical specialties + Demonstrate proper telephone etiquette, Excellent typing skills, Emotionally mature, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Contributes to a team approach, **Where You'll Work** Founded by the Sisters of Mercy, Mercy Hospitals have a history of caring for our community that goes back more than 100 years.
