Accountabilities:
Each summer, the Information Technology Services department seeks additional staffing to complete the many projects and summer operational procedures that must be accomplished to prepare for the upcoming academic year. The staffing needs can vary by project, and in skill level required, and in many cases the skills can be learned on the job. Typically, our work load requires us to staff for service desk assistance, classroom technology maintenance, inventory and review of equipment – including the deployment of new equipment and the retirement of older equipment, webpage and other communication updates, wired and wireless networking maintenance, as well as other tasks critical to our support of the University.
Under direct or indirect supervision, after training and standard procedures are explained, the Information Technology Assistant will be tasked with (but not limited to) a combination of the following:About Colgate University
