Registered Dietitian (RD) with active status through the Commission on Dietetics Registration and licensed Dietitian in the State of Kentucky. Grade 6 (Salaried). Position Description: The University of Louisville Athletic Department seeks candidates for a Sports Nutritionist II position to assist with providing nutritional support services to the University of Louisville Football student-athletes. The Sports Nutritionist II (Sports Dietitian, Football) will provide nutritional support services to the University of Louisville Football program. They will collaborate with the Manager, Sports Nutrition (Director of Sports Nutrition, Football), to assist student athletes in achieving optimal athletic performance. Primary responsibilities include team and individual nutrition oversight, clinical and/or medical nutrition therapy, assistance with food service and team meals, managing databases and ordering systems as well as directing intern and student workforce. The Sports Dietitian will be required to work a non-standard workweek, including some nights, weekends, and holidays, and travel with the team as needed for away games.
