We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Remote Special Education Teacher to provide exceptional virtual instruction to students throughout Michigan. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct instruction to students with a range of special education needs in a virtual classroom setting.
Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address each student's strengths and areas for growth.
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, ensuring they receive the best possible education.
Assess student progress regularly, track learning outcomes, and provide meaningful feedback to students, parents, and other educators.
Collaborate with general education teachers, school counselors, and families to create a well-rounded support system for student success.
Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP meetings, assessments, and compliance records in alignment with district and state guidelines.
Foster a positive online learning environment that promotes social-emotional development and utilizes proactive behavior management strategies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred).
Valid Michigan teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience teaching students with disabilities in a remote or virtual setting is a plus.
Strong knowledge of various disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, parents, and educational teams effectively.
Comfortable utilizing technology to deliver engaging online instruction and track student progress.
