Job Description

Must have full and unrestricted license to practice therapy in Nevada state (CPC, LCSW, LMFT).


This is a 1099 contract remote therapist or counselor role. This role truly offers the best of both worlds; the support and structure of a group practice, coupled with the freedom to shape your schedule and grow your income. We welcome therapists at any stage of their private practice journey, whether you have been in private practice for a while or whether private practice is new to you.



Summary:

Full and part-time positions available:

• Part-time is defined as 2-16 weekly sessions.
• Full-time is defined as 17 or more weekly sessions.

Clinicians are responsible for the following:

• Conducting individual, family and/or relationship sessions.
• Developing treatment plans.
• Maintaining confidential clinical notes.
• Documenting progress towards treatment goals.
• Collaboration during monthly consultation groups is offered and encouraged but not required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• A Master’s degree in behavioral science such as psychology, social work, counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, from an accredited college or university whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
• Full and unrestricted license to practice therapy in Nevada (CPC, LCSW, LMFT). Applications will not be considered unless fully licensed.
• A minimum of two years experience providing therapy to adults, teens, children, families or couples in an outpatient setting.
• Thorough training in a minimum of one modality (i.e. CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, EMDR, ERP, EFT, etc.)
• Experience and understanding of evidence-based practices.
• A willingness to work with insurance in addition to accepting private pay. This can be done through your own independent credentialing or a third-party company. Wandering Pine Wellness will pay for credentialing through Alma however, you are welcome to use your own independent credentialing service.
• A minimum of two professional references.

Pay is nuanced due to the nature of this role and relationship. Therapists set their own rate, and we estimate you can earn anywhere from $100 to $200 per clinical hour, depending on whether you're paid via insurance or cash. Our contract does require you to work with two insurance companies of your choosing. No fee splits here. We will never touch your earnings, they are 100% yours to keep. Instead, our team members pay a monthly flat fee for service that depends on your caseload's size and use of office space.
