Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of a large, multi-building facility and grounds. The ideal candidate will have experience in security and a strong understanding of the regulations and protocols within the industry.
Key Responsibilities :
● Monitor surveillance equipment and patrol the premises to prevent theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
● Ensure compliance with local and state regulations.
● Assist in the prevention and investigation of theft or illegal activity.
● Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
● Maintain accurate logs and reports on security activities.
● Respond to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
● Enforce safety protocols for employees and customers.
● Ensure that all areas of the facility remain secure, including storage areas, entrances, and parking lots.
Required Qualifications :
● Ability to work independently and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
● Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to sit, stand, or patrol for long periods and perform physical duties as required.
● Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
● Must be able to lawfully possess and carry a firearm during your duties.
● Must be able to qualify semi-annually with assigned firearm.
Preferred Qualifications :
● Experience working within the cannabis industry.
● First aid and CPR certification.
● Knowledge of security systems and technology.
● Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
● Valid DHSS Agent Identification.
