Job Description

The Sales Representative works under the direction of the General Manager to increase the visibility and awareness of the company’s pharmaceutical compounding services in the marketplace and maximizing sales growth. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing business in an interesting and highly visible position. The successful candidate will play an integral role in leading and expanding the company’s presence.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's goals and growth targets.
  • Identify and target healthcare professionals, physicians, clinics, hospitals, and other potential clients who can benefit from compounding pharmacy services.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competition, and opportunities for growth within the compounding pharmacy industry.
  • Contact potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them.
  • Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods.
  • Retain existing accounts through relationships and regular reviews with clients, maintaining quality service levels, and exceeding client's expectations.
  • Reporting and metrics to ensure sales requirements and profit goals are met.
  • Provide training and mentorship to others involved with marketing/sales to enhance skills and abilities.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on the benefits and advantages of customized medication solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth communication and order fulfillment.
  • Maintain strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

The successful candidate will have a BS degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Healthcare administration with a minimum of 3 years’ proven sales experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals or healthcare.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable outcomes and achieving revenue targets.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Proficiency with Office 365 (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook), Teams and remote communication tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with potential partners and attend industry events.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance coverage and have access to an automobile.
  • Previous healthcare or pharmaceutical sales experience.
