Job Posting: Repair Technician

We seek a motivated and skilled Repair Technician to join our Assembly Department.  This role involves in-house repair of returned machines and fieldwork at customer locations.  The starting pay is $17.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and process returned machines and components, including thermocouple units and wire harness assemblies.
• Receive, log, and evaluate returned goods, determining necessary repair methods and work scope.
• Perform repair operations such as wire preparation, assembly/disassembly, and mechanical assembly.
• Ensure repairs meet quality standards and compliance with work instructions.
• Coordinate repair and assembly tasks with production control and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
• Set up new jobs and train fellow employees as required.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and prepare necessary documentation.
• Utilize electrical test equipment to assess and verify repair quality.
• Perform cleaning operations, including degreasing, grit blasting, and wire brushing.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school education; and up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hand/eye coordination and dexterity.
• Able to lift 75 lbs
• High School Diploma or GED
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, speak, understand, and write in English

Essential Physical Functions:

• Occasional lifting of items 75 or more lbs, frequently lifting 50 lbs
• Regularly required to stand, sit, bend and reach
• Work performed in a fast paced, shop environment.
