About the Role
The Special Events Coordinator will assist in the planning, preparation, communication, set-up and close-out, and onsite execution of Special Events and Promotions
Position Responsibilities
Plans and coordinates daily special events and promotions.
Coordinates the disseminate of prizes, gifts and or tickets related to special events and promotions.
Coordinates advisories for all special events and promotions
Creates and distributes special events and promotional daily reports and customer feedback
Follows all departmental policies and procedures.
Addresses and resolves all customer services issues and presents to management
Builds a strong special event and loyalty team that delivers high guest satisfaction, excitement and fun
Maintain confidentially of all Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City trade secrets and proprietary information including business processes, customer lists, marketing plans and any other confidential information
Comply with all New Jersey regulatory requirements, Departmental and Company Policies including Ocean Casino Resort Atlantic City’s business ethics guidelines
This position issues comps but does not comp to the level which requires a casino key employee license in accordance with NJ CASINO CONTROL ACT & COMMISSION REGULATIONS
Essential Functions
Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure and fast paced environment
Must be able to work holidays and weekends as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours
Ability to effectively communicate in English
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25lbs
Basic computer skills are required
High school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred
