Job Title: Commercial Project Manager

Known for its commitment to safety, innovation, and client satisfaction, this firm is seeking a Commercial Project Manager to help lead complex ground-up and renovation projects from preconstruction through close-out.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Project Manager will play a critical leadership role in the planning and execution of multiple projects across commercial verticals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a natural problem-solver, and brings a collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and design professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and job cost reports.
Collaborate closely with Superintendents, Estimators, and Subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
Facilitate communication with owners, architects, and engineers to resolve project challenges.
Oversee subcontractor buyouts, contract negotiations, and change order management.
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Drive project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Lead project meetings and deliver clear, consistent updates to stakeholders.
Foster strong client relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
Project Types:
Ground-up and podium Multifamily developments
Big Box Retail and tenant improvements (e.g., Target, Walmart, Costco, etc.)
Healthcare facilities (clinics, medical office buildings, urgent care)
Hotels and extended-stay hospitality projects
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management
Proven track record managing projects in Multifamily , Retail , Healthcare , or Hospitality
Proficient with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
