MUST have a current Apprentice or Journeyman plumbing license.

MUST have experience in Brazing Refrigeration.

Job Overview:

We are seeking reliable and skilled Apprentice and Journeyman Plumbers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience or a strong desire to learn plumbing systems installation, maintenance, and repair, as well as brazing refrigeration systems. As part of our team, you will be responsible for plumbing and refrigeration tasks while ensuring quality service, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Both Apprentice & Journeyman Plumbers:

• Plumbing Systems: Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Refrigeration Systems: Proficiency in brazing, soldering, and welding for refrigeration pipes and components is a must.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing codes for proper installation and repair.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and refrigeration issues and provide solutions.
• Inspection: Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functioning.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and local plumbing codes while working with plumbing and refrigeration systems.
• Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service, explaining services and solutions to clients and ensuring satisfaction.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Journeyman Plumber (Additional Responsibilities):

• Supervise and mentor Apprentice Plumbers, providing guidance on techniques and safety protocols.
• Lead and manage projects, ensuring the timely completion of work.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs on both plumbing and refrigeration systems.

Qualifications:

Journeyman Plumber:

• Valid Journeyman Plumber License.
• Minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience, including brazing refrigeration systems.
• Proven experience with brazing, soldering, and welding refrigeration pipes and components.
• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Apprentice Plumber:

• Enrollment in or completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship program.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and tools.
• Willingness to learn brazing and refrigeration systems under the guidance of a Journeyman Plumber.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and eagerness to grow in the field.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and assist with tasks as required.

Additional Requirements for Both Roles:

• Brazing Refrigeration: Must be able to braze, solder, and weld for refrigeration systems (a requirement for both Apprentice and Journeyman).
• Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various environments (e.g., confined spaces, heights, extreme temperatures).
• Other: Ability to work on-call or outside regular hours if necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in HVAC or refrigeration systems (Journeyman).
• Familiarity with backflow prevention and testing.
• Prior experience working with commercial plumbing and refrigeration systems.
