A Player Service Representative is responsible for assisting customers in the exchange of U.S. currency for casino chips, credit chips, cash, foreign currency, Golden Nugget documents, negotiable instruments, and ambassadors of company good will. This role also sells gambling chips, tokens, or tickets to casino patrons, pay out jackpots and manages credit applications.
Responsibilities:Sale and redemption of casino chips and coin for cash (chips, foreign chips) and other like money items.
Issuance and redemption of Markers
Customer deposits/withdrawals.
Cashing of checks utilizing computer terminals.
Establish new computer accounts and process document requirements for credit, check cashing with policy and regulatory guidelines.
Balancing assigned funds.
Create and issue Players Club cards and promote the program and related promotions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of player tracking system, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.
Ensure the protection of customer’s rewards and credit lines.
Minimum of one year of cash handling experience
Ability to operate a computer terminal and communicate with the public in a clear and friendly manner
Knowledge of 10 key, balancing of banks
Solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment
Minimum age is 21 years old
