Job Description

Title: Network Security Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: Fulltime

Responsibilities:

• Gather network security requirements.
• Architect and design Network and Network Security solutions.
• Architect and design Juniper firewalls and IDP/IPS.
• Configure/implement/upgrade Juniper firewalls and IDP/IPS.
• Configure firewall policies on Juniper and optimize firewall rules.
• Configure Cisco Network switches and routers.
• Configure dynamic protocols, to include RIP, OSPF, and BGP.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6-8 years of network security engineering experience.
• Must have 2+ years of experience designing and architecting Juniper firewalls.
• Must have 2+ years of experience configuring Juniper firewalls.
• Must have 2+ years of experience configuring and supporting Cisco network switches and routers.
• Must have experience gathering security requirements and designing network security.
• Must have experience defining and configuring firewall policies.
• Must have experience optimizing firewall rules.
• Must have experience configuring Juniper IDP/IPS.
• Must have experience configuring dynamic protocols RIP, OSPF, and BGP.
• Must have excellent understanding of security architecture and integration.
• Must be proficient in Visio diagramming and design documentation.
