Meet The Team Our team designs the processes and equipment for every generation of Dexcom sensors, ranging from far-out research concepts to the machines that make tens of millions of sensors for our customers every year. This is a unique team within a unique company, where your technical talent makes an impact in the lives of our customers every day, today and into the future.
Where You Come In - You work with Senior Scientists and Engineers to build functional prototype sensors for cutting edge future product designs.
- You develop and characterize novel sensors manufacturing processes, mapping inputs to outputs to better understand critical parameters and process controls using DOEs.
- You draft, edit, and release formal documents related to manufacturing procedures and equipment.
- You fulfill sensor manufacturing requests and are accountable for the performance of the parts that are handed off to internal customers.
- You overcome exciting technical challenges that allow you to develop your skills in Process, Chemical, and Automation Engineering.
- You develop and document the processes and equipment for manufacturing clinical-quality product.
- You maintain proper records and self-audit data packages for completed experiments, and participate in technical design reviews.
- Your work directly influences the future of sensing technology, and you have the unique opportunity to see your product(s) make it to market.

- You are organized and detail-oriented, documenting experiments so they can be presented and replicated.

- You can work safely with in-development chemical formulations and prototype automation.

Travel Required Experience And Education Requirements Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-5 years related experience or Master’s degree and 0-2 years’ equivalent experience.
