Material Manager — Dallas, TX

Pay: $100,000–$180,000/year (full-time)

Overview

Seeking an experienced Material Program Manager (MPM) to lead sourcing strategy, supplier performance, and material execution for a new franchise program area. You’ll partner across Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Finance, and Contracts to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives and to drive risk/opportunity management.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Material Program Plan (MPP) and subcontract management plan; execute make/buy/where decisions.
  

• Serve as CAM-support for material & labor: monthly LREs, sales forecasting, quarterly EACs, SROs, AOP inputs.
  

• Develop supplier strategies for cutting-edge technologies ; run best-value source selections and competition plans.
  

• Monitor and act on program metrics (cost, schedule, quality, EVM ).
  

• Flow down program requirements and supplier management best practices; create/guide Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs) .
  

• Drive cross-functional alignment with Engineering/Quality/Operations; synchronize schedules with MRP and production control.
  

• Lead risk & opportunity planning; escalate/resolve issues; champion continuous improvement (Lean/CORE).
  

• Represent Supply Chain on policy, strategy, and objectives; collaborate across related programs to maximize efficiency.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) 
  

• 2+ years across material program management, project/program management, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, finance, contracts, and/or quality.
  

• Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams and meeting program objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Proficiency with program financials (budgets, forecasts, EACs) and supplier performance management.
  

• VantageClear Certification 
  

• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance ( U.S. citizenship required ).
