**Title:** Formulation Technician I **Location:** Pleasanton, CA **Shift:** M, W, Th, Fri - 5:00am-3:30am (4x10s) **Pay Rate:** $23.25/hour Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Scientist for a long term 12-month contract position (with the ability to convert) at a cutting-edge biomanufacturing company in Pleasanton, CA. If you're passionate about bringing the latest scientific discoveries to life and are ready to take the next step in your career, trust The Experts at Hiring Experts. **Essential Functions:** + Manufacture oligonucleotides/custom primers for the biotech industry by adhering to established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). + Operate semi-automated and automated lab equipment and evaluate non-routine test results to determine product status. + Engage in highly repetitive tasks for extended periods. + Apply scientific principles for problem-solving and troubleshooting. Show independent judgment in selecting solutions while providing logical data-backed decision options. + Contribute feedback and ideas for lab techniques, protocols, and processes. + Balance multiple tasks, demonstrating knowledge of basic lab techniques and computer skills. + Complete thorough documentation, including issue reporting and deviations to Leads/Supervisors. + Strive to meet output goals, improve time management and engage in cost-improvement initiatives. + Communicate effectively about problems/questions and collaborate with team members. + May be required to undertake additional duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Life Science discipline _preferred_ **OR** + Relevant manufacturing lab experience with Associates or High School Diploma/GED **Working Conditions:** + Team-based laboratory environment with the requirement to lift up to 20 lbs. + Ability to stand for prolonged periods and safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials.
