Position:

Junior Software Engineer

Description:

Implement DevOps processes and techniques for Cloud and non-cloud applications.
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
Apply software development techniques.
Plan and prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
Obtain and license software by collecting required information from vendors, recommending purchases, testing, and approving products.
Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
Accomplish engineering and organizational missions by completing related results as needed.
Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying system flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the software development life cycle.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, 2 of which must be within the DoD.
Knowledge of defense acquisition policies outlined in DoDI 5000.02 is desired.
Ability to assimilate information quickly, communicate effectively, and remain organized to monitor progress toward accomplishing various taskings and initiatives.
Work proactively, with minimal supervision, and effectively communicate orally and in writing, providing quality acquisition and program documentation (briefings, documents, plans, etc.).
An active US Secret or Top Secret Security clearance is required.
Must be a US citizen.
