  • Help prepare design presentations, including 3D models using tools like Google SketchUp, to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to clients.
  • Conduct material and product research, sourcing furniture, fixtures, finishes, and accessories for projects.
  • Attend site visits with senior designers to assess spaces, meet with clients, and oversee installations.
  • Support in preparing design documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and design proposals.
  • Ensure design deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations.

Client and Vendor Interaction:

  • Assist with communication with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely product deliveries and project milestones are met.
  • Contribute to maintaining positive client relationships through excellent customer service and follow-up.
  • Attend client meetings as needed, taking notes and assisting in the communication of design ideas and project updates.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A degree or certification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Experience:

  • A solid understanding of design principles, materials, and current design trends.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute to various aspects of design work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Creative with a keen eye for detail and an interest in staying up-to-date with design trends.
  • Highly organized, able to juggle a variety of tasks, pivot with priority changes, and maintain focus under pressure.
  • Enthusiastic about supporting the Principal Designer and senior designers in a collaborative, fast-paced design environment.
  • A positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role, contributing to building strong, lasting relationships with clients and vendors.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience.
