This Internet/Web Engineer role will support the development of new business functions and troubleshoot existing applications within a specific application framework. The primary focus will be on financial processing applications, including analysis, troubleshooting, solution proposal, coding, testing, deployment, and user interaction. The position requires significant experience with Microsoft technologies and financial systems. Production support experience is desirable. The engineer will contribute to the ongoing development of a key financial middle-piece project.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze SCDMV Phoenix II and web applications.
- Lead the analysis and troubleshooting of assigned system problems.
- Propose and implement solutions.
- Code, test, deploy, and interact with impacted users to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Provide daily and weekly status reports to the development manager.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Microsoft .NET Architecture and programming
- MS Web service architecture and programming
- Business-to-business web service interface architecture
- Web User Interface programming
- Visual Studio 2015 and 2019/2022
- VB.NET
- MS Internet Information Systems (IIS) architecture and support
- Application programming against RDBMS (Oracle and SQL)
- Experience in financial systems (AR, AP, payment reductions, general ledger postings and reporting)
- SOA / Web Service Strategy
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related discipline with 8 years of experience OR minimum 10 years of related experience.
