Description of role: (

We are looking for safe and courteous Class A truck drivers with a minimum of 2 years of tanker experience. We offer competitive pay, good benefits and a stable company that values its employees. No owner-operators are employed by Cool Transports. The fleet is entirely company-owned and maintained on a strict schedule. We do not compromise where safety is involved. (

Tasks: (

• Complete a daily truck log via the electronic logging device (
• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately (
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way possible (
• Find ways to conserve resources, including fuel, to benefit the business (
• Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public (
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself accordingly (
• Conduct daily inspections (DVIRs) of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management via the electronic logging device (
• Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules (
• Pick up petroleum product from the loading rack and deliver to customer location in an efficient and safe manner (

Skills and requirements: (

• High school diploma/GED required (
• Class A drivers license in good standing (
• 2 years verifiable petroleum experience (
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement (
• Must have a clean DMV record (
• Must be drug free; random drug testing required per DOT regulation (
• Must pass initial drug test/physical/background check at time of hire (

Work schedule: (

Full time, Sunday-Saturday, 24 hours a day. Shifts rotate on a 5-3, 5-2. Evenings and weekends are required. We never close. We run our trucks 24/7 to ensure our customers receive the best service. (
