About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Next.js, React Native, Docusaurus Developers to join our team and contribute to building high-performance web and mobile applications while maintaining clear and well-structured documentation. You will work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to create seamless user experiences and ensure our developer documentation is robust and accessible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Next.js and React Native applications.

• Build reusable UI components and ensure consistency across web and mobile platforms.

• Integrate applications with backend APIs and manage state efficiently using modern approaches (e.g., Redux, React Query, Zustand).

• Implement performance optimizations, accessibility improvements, and cross-platform compatibility.

• Set up and maintain Docusaurus-based documentation for internal and external developer resources.

• Work collaboratively with the backend and product teams to refine APIs and improve developer experience.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team-wide knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Next .js / React.js and React Native development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.

• Familiarity with React Query, Axios, or other data-fetching techniques.

• Strong understanding of component design, hooks, and functional programming principles.

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.

• Hands-on experience with Docusaurus for technical documentation.

• Knowledge of CI/CD workflows, Git, and version control best practices.

• Good understanding of mobile and web performance optimizations.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Expo for React Native development.

• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client.

• Exposure to testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Detox.

• Experience contributing to open-source projects or maintaining developer documentation.

• Understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with designers.

This is a part time role (20 hours / week). Candidates must be able to attend standup meetings at 10am EST and be available during the following working hours. This role is not for summer 2025 positions.
