Job Description

Schubach Aviation, a Carlsbad Aircraft Charter and Management Company, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flight Coordinator to join our growing and dynamic team. The ideal candidate is able to work as part of a team, taking strong ownership of job assignments.

Job Description

Position Title: Flight Coordinator

Reports to: Charter Manager

Responsibilities And Duties

Job Duties:

  • Support both Part 135 and Part 91 flight operations.
  • Work within the daily flight schedule to ensure all trip itineraries are finalized and communicated to the appropriate parties.
  • Confirm trip details including but not limited to catering, FBO notifications, rental cars, international handling details, and any other special request.
  • Communicate with charter customers and aircraft owners providing up-to-date flight itineraries.
  • Communicate trip details with flight crew members.
  • Support the charter sales team in providing charter quotes when needed.
  • Operations duties include entering daily flight logs, tracking and reporting crew currency and other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
  • Participate in weekly after hours on-call rotation.
  • Reports to the Charter Department Manager.

Qualifications And Experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant aviation experience.
  • Must possess a very high level of attention to detail, be able to multitask, and be able to work flexibly within a highly changeable, fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of both Part 135 and Part 91 Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Must be capable of making time-dependent logistical decisions with cost-benefit components.
  • High-level computer and sophisticated communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Desire to grow and progress in the role over time and grow into a Charter Sales career.
  • Availability for on-call weekend shifts.
