CLARK Material Handling Company, is a 100 year old company, and a global leader in the material handling and forklift industry. CLARK is seeking qualified candidates to join our team.
The Finance Manager is responsible for providing information, primarily financial in nature, about Company activities that will assist management and other internal users in making educated economic decisions. This position lead the company department expenses, will oversee the accounts payable area, and is responsible for all company tax filings, freight expenses, and warranty transactions. This position will also, participate in monthly closing process, external audits, and analyze Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss variances.
This Position is an onsite position located in our Global HQ office in Flower Mound, TX. This is not a remote position.
Essential Functions - Completes specialized financial reports by preparing periodic internal and external financial documents, supporting schedules and financial reports.
- Conducts financial analysis by monitoring, reviewing, and analyzing current and historical financial and budget information.
- Reconcile various accounts to the general ledger.
- Assist in developing and publishing yearly budgets and forecasts, along withstrategic and tactical financial plans.
- Responsible for the Accounts Payable area and team.
- Completes for company all tax filings. Will work with outside consultants to ensure all filings completed in timely manner.
- Completes all company business surveys and census data.
- Oversee Freight and Warranty transactions.
- Supervises finance folks for related company functions under responsibility.
- Assist with company internal and external audits.
- Develops, recommends and implements departmental financial policies, procedures and strategies.
- Insure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of management, supervision.
- Show effective concern for the quality of all output and the needs, concerns and priorities of all “customers” both internal and external to the company.
- Support company policies and demonstrate concern for the success of the business.
Basic Qualifications - A four year degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of five years of accounting and/or finance experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, focus on enhanced Excel skillset
- Must have the ability to operate in a corporate environment, dealing with all levels of management.
- Experience in supervising direct reports
- Excellent people skills with the ability to exercise authority, motivate and develop a diverse workforce with superior communication skills, verbal and written.
- Must have demonstrated strong analytical, problem solving skills and unconditional integrity and commitment to financial accuracy.
- Must be authorized to work in the US indefinitely.
