Job Title: Film Sorter Operator

Shift:

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday

Pay:

• $15.50 per hour

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carefully inspect and sort raw film materials, including film stock and reels, according to production specifications.
• Maintain strict adherence to quality standards, identifying and flagging defects, damages, or inconsistencies.
• Accurately document sorted film materials, including quantities and specifications, for inventory tracking.
• Collaborate with production supervisors, technicians, and quality control personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of materials, to maintain a safe workplace.
• Provide feedback on sorting procedures to improve efficiency and reduce material waste.

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and accuracy in inspecting and sorting materials.
• Ability to operate sorting machinery and basic knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain records.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and move heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving production processes.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
