A leading Print Finishing, Bindery, and Direct Mail solutions manufacturer is looking for a field service engineer to be based near their main production facility in Wheeling, IL. This is a small service group, so it is important to understand the personality and company culture. This is a full-time role that involves only 50% travel. The rest of the time, you are in the main offices helping with technical support, demonstrations, and product testing. Most of the customers are local around the IL/WI area, with a small % nationwide. Good electrical and mechanical skills are needed. The ability to travel, work in groups, and be independent is expected.
Ideal candidate is someone who has prior experience in digital printing finishing, inkjet, bindery or packaging equipment. Any operator who wants to travel and has basic electrical and mechanical skills can apply. Any field service professionals from the commercial printing industry will be considered excellent candidates for the role.
