A leading US equipment manufacturer of Packaging machinery is looking for a field service engineer. This person will be responsible for electrical installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs of their large complex machinery. Equipment lines include flexible packaging and vacuum-sealed equipment. This is fully remote unless you live close enough to Appleton, WI. Expect both regional and national travel. Strong knowledge of HMIs, PLCs, control systems, and drives is expected. You are required to live 30 to 40 minutes from a major international airport. Expect 3 weeks of national travel, home one week. Your ability to understand blueprints and electrical schematics is required.
The ideal candidate is anyone with field service experience working on automation machinery. Any maintenance or service technician in the printing and packaging trades should apply. A BSEE or BSME is desired. Starting yearly compensation ranges from $70k to $90k pending experience and there is OT available. This is a six-figure income role with solid benefits.
