Location: Adkins, TX
Pay: Starting at $21.00/hour
Type: Full-time - Independent Contractor (1099)
Bonus: Up to $100/week based on performance

🧩 About the Role:

Top Metal Solutions is looking for an experienced Fabricator Fitter who can read advanced fabrication drawings, perform precise layout and fit-up, and weld MIG when required. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility position for professionals in custom metal fabrication.

🔧 What You'll Do:

• Read and interpret advanced manufacturing blueprints

• Measure, cut, and assemble complex metal structures

• Perform layout, angle cuts, and trace parts to prepare for welding

• Use MIG welding to tack and finish weld when needed

• Work with a wide range of tools, including:

  • Measuring tape, squares, levels, layout templates

  • Plasma cutter, oxy-fuel torch

  • Grinders, clamps, presses, magnetic drills

• Fabricate products such as racks, skids, pallets, frames, jigs, and fixtures

✅ What We're Looking For:

• Strong blueprint reading and layout skills

• Experience in advanced metal fabrication

• Ability to MIG weld and self-manage part prep and assembly

• Must have SSN or ITIN, valid ID, and bank account

• Note: Most of our team communicates in Spanish. Comfort working in a Spanish-speaking environment is important.

💪 Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move up to 70 lbs

• Stand and work for extended periods

• Tolerate heat, dust, and noise in a shop environment

• Must wear proper PPE
