Email Marketing Specialist

Are you a creative strategist who loves crafting compelling email campaigns that drive engagement and results? Do you thrive on optimizing customer experiences through targeted messaging and data-driven decisions? If so, we're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our team!

In this role, you'll take the lead in developing and executing email marketing campaigns that captivate audiences and enhance customer relationships. Working closely with content, design, and product teams, you'll ensure messaging resonates with our customers while continuously optimizing for performance. From writing engaging content to analyzing campaign success, you'll play a key role in shaping our email strategy and driving business growth.

What You'll Do:

Develop, implement, and manage email marketing campaigns, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle emails.
Utilize segmentation strategies to deliver personalized content, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, design, and calls-to-action (CTAs) to optimize performance and engagement.
Collaborate with content and design teams to create compelling copy and visually engaging templates that align with brand guidelines.
Build and manage automated email workflows, including welcome series, cart abandonment, and re-engagement campaigns.
Monitor key performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.) and provide insights for continuous optimization.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and creative teams to align email campaigns with product launches and promotions.
Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and follow best practices for deliverability and engagement.
Support additional marketing initiatives as needed.

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in email marketing, ideally within e-commerce.
Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms and automation tools (experience with DotDigital is a plus).
Strong understanding of email marketing strategies, including segmentation and personalization.
Ability to analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable improvements (GA4 experience is a bonus).
Excellent writing skills for email copy, including subject lines and preheaders.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in campaign execution.
Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack) is preferred.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email design is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
