Responsibilities include: Comprehending welding drawings/instructions, layout stitch welds, verify quantity/quality of parts, layout/operate fuel/gas/plasma hand torches, move materials via overhead crane and other related complex/physical welding duties.
Qualifications: At least 2-3 years of Welding experience with Flux Core, Metal Core and/or Solid Wire on large parts, heavy manufacturing, ability to select own dies, open table fit up for fitter jobs along with welding large steel weldments. Blueprint reading skills, ability to interpret and welding drawings and instructions, plus good Math and communication skills are also necessary to be successful in these roles.
