Job Description

Bellecour Bistro, Gavin Kaysen’s French-influenced bistro in the North Loop neighborhood of Downtown Minneapolis, is looking for a Dining Room Manager to lead the evening service team at Bellecour North Loop. This role is responsible for managing the front-of-house team, ensuring seamless service, developing relationships with our guests, and setting the standard of hospitality for our team. 
Timeline: Training to begin mid-November for an anticipated late November opening. 

• Inspire, manage, and lead a team of hospitality minded professionals who love to bring joy to other people.
• Train team members in service standards, product knowledge, and guest interaction.
• Monitor performance and provide regular feedback to all direct reports.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment.
• Be the point person during service for guest requests, staff needs, problem solving, and pace-setting.
• Resolve guest issues in a timely and hospitality-focused manner
• Ensure that technical service standards are met.
• Maintain and update POS and print menus as needed (using InDesign or similar tools).
• Open and close the restaurant following all operational checklists and procedures.

• During the first year of employment, Paid Time Off (PTO), in accordance with Minnesota's Earned Sick and Safe Time law, is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and is available for use as soon as it is accrued.
