QualDerm Partners is on the lookout for a passionate Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and documenting medical history.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are available.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection and handling.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.
• Manage patient appointment scheduling and handle office communications.
• Educate patients about treatment procedures and appropriate skincare practices.
• Keep examination rooms tidy, organized, and properly stocked with supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical role is desirable.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in a busy environment.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic office software applications.
