Essential Job Functions: Performs any and all of the following functions; sets cases for attorneys representing clients, sets dates of appearance and appeals for county courts; notifies concerned parties through summons of trial dates including attorneys, defendants, witnesses, jurors, and police; enters court dates, summons, warrants, citations from other departments, citizen's complaints, and all monies collected into computer; performs a variety of court duties including calling court to order, swearing in witnesses, arranging jurors, and quoting fines to judge; collaborates with city attorney on preparation of trial, no contest docket and arraignment dockets; prints dockets and compiles records of cases listed; collects and maintains records of all monies received by court; balances daily register receipts with cash received; answers multi-line telephone inquiries; scanning; provides signature, date and official court seal to all legal documents; provides assistance and information to citizens, other city departments, police officers and attorneys; types form letters.
