The Controller is responsible for providing world-class fiscal integrity and service while facilitating world-class instruction, research and leadership.
Relocation allowance or reimbursement is negotiable. All employees must be available to work in our Alexandria, LA office. If applicable, we'll negotiate and determine the best way to help you offset any moving expenses.

Account Receivable including recording cash receipts, invoicing, and collections.
Accounts Payable including posting payables, processing checks, reconciling statements
Inventory management including purchasing, receiving, RMA’s, warranty, exchanges, disputes, etc.
Cash management, deposits, credit card processing, online banking, bank reconciliations, forecasting, reporting to management
Sales tax reports for various states
General Ledger entries, reconciliations of accounts, preparing financial statements
Analyze financials and make recommendations to management when appropriate.
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly and year-end reports
Self-starter, able to multi task.
Deep understand and ability to apply accounting knowledge
Strong skills in the use Excel.
Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and dig into the details.
Must be able to wear different hats and work collaboratively with co-workers.
Ability to manage a broad range of activities and juggle multiple tasks.

Two-year accounting degree, four-year business degree, or two years of related experience
Proficient with Excel pivot tables and functions
