Job Description

A Cleaning Crew Team Member is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant. This role involves performing deep cleaning tasks such as pressure washing floors and exterior areas, thoroughly cleaning kitchen, front counter, dining room, and play area equipment, and maintaining all tools and machinery to ensure they operate efficiently. 

Additionally, the team member assists with unloading and sorting truck deliveries, managing inventory to keep stock organized and accessible. This role also includes completing and managing checklists. They play a critical part in upholding health and safety standards by completing detailed sanitation duties that support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and guests. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy hands-on maintenance tasks, and contributing behind the scenes. We do still require general team member training, to be able to support our team if guest needs are not being met.

Job Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitation:

• Sweep, scrub, and mop floors in all areas of the facility.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms daily. 
• Clean trash cans and dustpans weekly.
• Clean thaw cabinets, inside and outside. 
• Clean ceiling tiles, lights, and menu boards in Dining Room.
• Clean all vents both in Dining Room and kitchen.
• Maintain clean floors and baseboards.
• Power wash the trash coral.
• Clean out drains throughout the building weekly.
• Clean ice machine weekly.
• Perform trash runs throughout shift.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stored safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by identifying potential hazards and taking corrective actions.

Inventory and Supplies:

• Monitor cleaning levels and notify the supervisor when supplies are low.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the storage areas for cleaning supplies.

Facility Inspections:

• Conduct daily inspections of the facility to identify cleaning needs.
• Report any damage or unusual conditions to the supervisor for prompt resolution.

Qualifications:

• Available Monday-Saturday
• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles preferred, but not required.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position which includes, but is not limited to, standing for up to 10 hours and lifting up to 40 pounds. Also, being outside anywhere from 1-3 hours at a time depending on the heat & cold index.
