Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Cat Sitter to join our team. As a Cat Sitter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care while owners are away. This is a great opportunity for individuals who have a passion for animals and enjoy spending time with them.

Duties:
-Provide in-home pet sitting services for various types of animals, including cats, fish, and small mammals
-Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding feeding schedules, routines, and any necessary medications
-Engage in playtime and provide companionship to ensure the emotional well-being of the pets
-Clean up after pets, including litter box cleaning, waste removal, and maintaining cleanliness of pet areas
-Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the pet owner
-Maintain accurate records of each visit which will be sent to the owner via app
-Physical stamina to perform tasks such as heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, standing. crouching, and stair climbing
-Visit clients in Fair Lakes, Fair Oaks, Oakton, Reston and Herndon

Requirements:
-Experience in pet sitting or animal care
-Knowledge of basic animal handling techniques and understanding of animal -behavior
-Knowledge of medication administration.
-Reliable vehicle and the ability to communicate clearly and amiably to owners.
-Availability between 6am-11am and 4pm -8pm as well as weekends and holidays.
