Job Description

Summary

The Family Wellness Team seeks a part time staff member to support home visiting, case management and parent support for parents and Kinship Caregivers.
20 hour position open Monday through Wednesday.

Duties

Provide Support, Resource and ideas that strengthen families with children.
Offer in home parenting support, offering strategies that help with children's needs, budgeting, personal care and family management.
Develop plans with families to support their needs.
Support Kinship Caregivers through case management and kinships services.
Support parent child group.

Requirements

College degree in Human Services/Social Work Education or related field.
2 years experience working with families preferred
Familiar with parenting education and ideas to offer to families.
Able to use database to record client information and contact notes.
Familiar with Trauma Informed Care and Motivational Interviewing.
Know how to access and offer resources and referrals.

Nice To Haves

Prior facilitation of parent programs/groups.
Prior experience doing case management.
