About The Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA): PHA is a statewide organization of 700+ home health, home care and hospice agencies looking to hire! PHA is posting this opening on behalf of their member organization PennCares

PennCares is looking for compassionate, reliable, and patient individuals to join our team as Non-Medical, In-Home Caregivers. In this role, you will provide essential care and support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. Overnight availability is a plus. If you have a passion for helping others maintain their independence and dignity, we want to hear from you!
No experience necessary, starts at $13.00-$13.75, pays up to $16.00
Caregiver's responsibilities could include:
-Assist clients with non-medical personal care needs (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming)
-Provide companionship and emotional support
-Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
-Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings
-Assist with mobility and physical activity (walking, transferring from bed to chair, etc.)
-Help clients adhere to daily routines and schedules
-Monitor and report changes in health or behavior to the family or supervisor
-Provide medication reminders (no administration of medication)
Qualifications:
-Prior experience in caregiving (professional or personal) is preferred but not required
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and supporting clients as needed
-Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
-Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
-CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required)
