Business Operations Analyst 

The Staff Pad is seeking a Business Operations Analyst on behalf of our client.  This role will play a pivotal part in inventory management, financial analysis, and operational process optimization. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning, inventory control, and business process automation within a retail or supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze inventory trends and collaborate with buyers to optimize stock levels.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies using financial forecasting and market analysis.
• Support budgeting processes by monitoring performance and identifying variances.
• Utilize Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP preferred) for financial reporting and decision-making.
• Automate and streamline financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct gross profit margin analysis across key P&L areas.
• Assist in the S&OP process and financial forecasting updates.
• Act as a liaison between operations and financial teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis, inventory management, or financial planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles and cost analysis methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Preferred: Experience with SQL, database management, or DevOps.
