  What You’ll Do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in directional boring, fusing, and trench work.
  • Represent Starlink at pre-bid meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • Prepare and manage competitive bids, proposals, RFPs, and RFQs.
  • Build strong client, contractor, and vendor relationships.
  • Partner with internal teams on scopes, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Oversee job start-up processes and ensure field quality meets company standards.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
  • Support marketing and branding efforts, including trade shows and client presentations.

  What We’re Looking For

  • Proven business development or project management experience in underground utilities or construction .
  • Strong knowledge of directional boring, pipe fusing, and related civil infrastructure services .
  • Demonstrated success in bidding, negotiations, and client acquisition .
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, specifications, and bid documents .
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills .
  • Strong organization and time management.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, networking, and site visits.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite .

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with municipal and utility contracts.
  • OSHA or industry-related safety certifications.
