Overview:

Independence Blue Cross (IBX) is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Business Analyst to join their team at their Philadelphia headquarters. This role is ideal for recent college graduates or junior professionals looking to launch their careers in business analysis. The successful candidate will support process improvement initiatives and provide analytical and technical support to drive operational efficiency and effective business-technology alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals.
• Conduct research and root cause analysis to support decision-making.
• Recommend process improvements and support implementation efforts.
• Assist in preparing project proposals, cost-benefit analyses, and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Communicate requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Entry-level to junior-level experience in business analysis or related field.
• Strong analytical thinking , attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills .
• Proactive, collaborative , and open to learning.
• Ability to write well-structured business and functional requirements.

Preferred (Not Required) Skills:

• Familiarity with:
  • UX Design
  • SQL
  • Visual Studio
  • Sigma
  • Business Analysis frameworks or a technical background

Additional Notes:

• While junior candidates are welcome, those with more aligned experience in BSA (Business Systems Analyst) roles will be prioritized.
• The bill rate is experience-based; entry-level candidates will be considered at the lower end of the rate range.
