Job Description

DKD Enterprises LLC is looking for a BIM Modeler in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.

BIM Modeler needed with strong proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD Building Design software. BIM Modeler will be responsible for all aspects of electrical modeling for projects as they relate to BIM, working with the production of shop drawings and as-builts from conception through completion. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ideal Candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience pertaining to AutoCAD operations, Drafting, & Detailing preferable within the electrical arena and must be proficient with AutoCAD Building Design software.

Educations and Experience Required:

• AutoCad drafting not including coursework: 5 years (Required)
• structural drafting not including coursework: 5 years (Preferred
• Preferred minimum of 5 years 3D AutoCAD MEP or Revit experience in related industries 
• Experience in electrical construction is a plus, but not required 
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access & Bluebeam 
• Familiar with construction drawings and electrical code
• Knowledge in Electrical Solar a Plus 

Working Conditions/ Physical Functions:

• Required to sit for long periods of time.
• infrequent light physical effort required
• Work mostly performed in an office environment
• Occasional exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at office and construction job sites.
