Dynamo Room is a brand new steak house located at the recently developed Penn Station District in Manhattan.
The raw bar & grill is the newest project from Sunday Hospitality (Rule of Thirds, Sunday In Brooklyn, Cafe Chelsea, Hotel Chelsea Lobby Bar, El Quijote, Bedford Post Inn), opening in March 2025.
We are currently hiring for all positions in FOH and BOH, with positions starting in March.

About This Role
Barbacks are responsible for supporting all aspects of the guest experience at the bar, including greetings, bar maintenance, overall guest satisfaction and happiness, fond farewells and maintaining a general command of the food and beverage menu. Barbacks assist in the preparation of consistently excellent beverages as well as maintaining cleanliness and supply pars for all beverage, ice, garnish, and other service needs; provide impeccable hospitality to each of our clients, working specifically with each individual need to curate the best experience possible.
Specific job duties include, but are not limited to :
Assists all bar staff in providing quality food and beverage service to guests according to specifications, courteously and efficiently
Maintains cleanliness of lounge tables, bar area, service areas and equipment
Stocks all wares and equipment needed for service
Assists in controlling inventory for restaurant operation supplies
Works with Bartender to continuously improve standard operating procedures
What You Bring
Minimum of 1+ years’ experience as a barback in a high-volume restaurant
TIPS certification required
A positive attitude and passion for providing exceptional hospitality service
Flexible work schedules: the ability to work night, weekends, holidays, as business permits
The ability to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects, up to 50lbs
Kneel, bend, or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; be on feet for extended periods of time
