TEKsystems is seeking qualified candidates for a Bank Teller position with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Phoenix Arizona, 85022 area! Job Description: To provide members and prospective members the full range of products and services the client offers, including depository accounts such as checking, savings, certificate IRA, revocable trust and estate accounts; Lending products; and credit/debit cards. To perform moderately complex platform banking functions under supervision. Assist/training to lower-level team members. Experience + 1-3 years of relevant cash handling experience; banking is preferred but not required + Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and via email + Good communication skills - de-escalation, remaining calm under pressure, listening + Experience providing face to face customer service + Dependibility and puntuality is VERY important for this high-volume branch Responsibilities + Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans + Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loans, overdraft protection,n and credit card applications + Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services + Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly + Identify opportunities to cross-service products and increase product penetration + Perform platform banking functions + Assist level I team members + Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services + May assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing, and balancing procedures + May serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian + Perform other duties as assigned Hours: full-time 40hr work week - hours can vary Monday - Friday between 8:30am-5:45pm and MUST be comfortable working on saturdays from 8:45am-1:45pm. You will have a day off throughout the week to balance your 40hrs when working on saturday and schedule will be provided 2 weeks in advance.
