The Ministry Opportunity:
St. Thomas’, Rochester is seeking an Associate Priest, who shares in the sacramental, pastoral, and priestly ministry of the church. The Associate Priest reports directly to the Rector and collaborates with staff and ministry teams. The focus of this ministry will be overseeing Children’s Ministry and co-leading Youth Ministry, along with sharing in the pastoral needs and Christian Formation.

St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church is a city church and borders the town of Brighton. Our location is one foot in the city with its diversity and urban concerns, and one foot in a religiously diverse suburb. We take seriously the call to discipleship through Bible study, book studies, learning through fellowship and dialogue, as well as passionate about social justice and allyship of our LGTBQIA+ siblings. We are a learning community willing to try new things and find ways to partner with neighbors to work for justice and to be bearers of love in the world.
